Refind Osx
Refind Osx High Sierra
It has been made to be easily chainloaded by unmodified EFI bootloader like Grub, rEFInd etc. The Macbook Pro 11,3 model's EFI is switching off the Intel GPU if you boot anything but Mac OS X. So a little trick by faking the OS identifiction is required to make all hardware accessible.
Unfortunately this computer belongs to my sister and she's too far away for me to help her physically there. I set up this pc with a dual boot using rEFInd as the boot manager. But now she says only a plain black screen shows when she turns the pc on. And hitting ESC won't do a thing.
I'll try to go to the BIOS with her help and see if swapping the drives could help loading Windows. If she then get the EFI menu with F12 to call Mint that would be great!
I believe she has a Life Mint USB drive too.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance guys
